This article from 2/7 in the San Jose Mercury news suggests San Mateans are relatively sanguine about the explosion in development, as projects bottlenecked by the great recession compound problems introduced by new development. We beg to differ in that we have indeed reached, indeed past, the tipping point. With 58 MILLION square feet of development in the pipeline for San Mateo county, the protections provided by Measure P are more important than ever.
